Wandering the forgotten timber town of Osceola, West Virginia is where I dream best. It’s out a few long gravel roads with no real name. An hour away from civilization. No cell service. No electricity. No people. Just a lot of coniferous trees, ground pine, sinking swamps and if you’re lucky…stars beyond stars. The polar opposite of everywhere and everything that I’ve pushed towards.
My goofy strangeness made me stand out in WV. So I left. I spent my 20s in NYC. Acting brought me there but curiosity and drive kept me. NYC became home. When I missed watching the leaves change with the seasons, I found joy in watching people change. When that wasn’t enough to cure my longing, I found comfort in the permanent splinters in my skin and dirt under my nails. This made me stick out just enough to feel right. The biz typed me as “rugged”, but really these were just childhood tattoos showing my true colors.
I intend to collide my two worlds. Telling stories and being inspired by the place and people that created me. If you’re here, thank you. I welcome you to get to know me as I continue to get to know myself.
